Job Description

Purpose of the Role: The Centre of Excellence (CoE) Leader provides operational leadership to business operations, ensuring the function is an integrated part of Aon's global service delivery, consistently aligned with enterprise priorities and standards. This role ensures alignment with ABS (Aon Business Services) leadership, driving consistency across all deliverables and KPIs. The CoE Leader is accountable for the performance, development, and cross-functional utilisation of team leaders and their teams, ensuring business objectives are met and management information (MI) is provided in line with ABS Leadership requirements.

Key Responsibilities:


.Strategic Alignment: Work closely with ABS Leaders to ensure all business operations, deliverables, and KPIs are fully aligned with broader business strategies and standards.


.Operational Accountability: Hold team leaders and their teams accountable for performance, quality, and delivery of objectives. Proactively address underperformance and drive continuous improvement.


.Business Objective Delivery: Ensure the business operations function delivers on all agreed business objectives, supporting the wider goals of Aon and ABS.


.Management Information (MI): Provide timely, accurate, and relevant MI and reporting in line with ABS Leadership's requirements, enabling informed decision-making.


.Consistency and Best Practice: Champion consistent processes, standards, and service delivery across all teams and solution lines. Promote, develop, and embed best practices within the CoE.


.Cross-Utilisation of Colleagues: Proactively manage and deploy resources across multiple solution lines, ensuring colleagues are utilised effectively and not siloed within one area.


.Stakeholder Engagement: Develop collaborative partnerships with internal stakeholders across regions and functions, serving as a connector between the CoE and the broader enterprise to advance integrated business operations.


.People Leadership: Inspire, develop, and support team leaders and colleagues, fostering a high-performance culture and facilitating professional growth.


.Change Management: Lead and support change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to service delivery.
