GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

Produce standardized financial reporting, claims/utilization insights, and projections for self‑insured clients using nationally aligned tools, templates, and visualization standards. This role is responsible for end‑to‑end execution of core analytics deliverables-including carrier data collection, source file updates, validation, and output generation-while supporting the consulting/financial team by preparing client-ready materials and ensuring reporting consistency across regions. Unlike client-facing consultant roles, this role supports delivery without owning primary client-facing responsibilities.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role focuses on analytics execution and standardized reporting delivery, including data collection, source file updates, validation, and output generation

The Colleague provides high quality administration support for internal and external clients by:

Operates as part of team under supervision of Project Lead/Ops Manager

  • Produce recurring client analytics deliverables aligned to standardized templates and nationally agreed outputs (e.g., Excel/PDF/visualization formats) to support monthly reporting and renewal reviews.
  • Support reporting for both fully insured and self‑funded clients, with primary focus on self‑insured and claims experience reporting for fully insured where applicable.
  • Collect required financial and claims/enrollment data from carriers (manual pull or receipt of carrier files/feeds where available) to support monthly reporting and projections.
  • Coordinate data intake activities across carrier sites and shared repositories as part of a nationally aligned data flow.
  • Enter claims information and related financial data into the standardized source file that feeds nationally agreed visualizations and reporting outputs.
  • Perform reasonableness checks and data validation activities (e.g., comparing against monthly reports and identifying inconsistencies) to ensure output accuracy.
  • Support movement toward standardized Excel templates and future-state data drops into NFP Connect as the operating model evolves.
  • Support projection and renewal review deliverables by preparing inputs, running standardized tools/templates, and summarizing results for consulting teams.

Education & Skills-

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent analytical experience preferred (finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, or related discipline).
  • Experience supporting employee benefits analytics and/or insurance financial reporting preferred, including exposure to self‑funded claims reporting and projections.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to validate, reconcile, and interpret financial and claims data.
  • High attention to detail and comfort working in standardized templates, source files, and visualization-driven reporting.
  • Proficiency with Excel-based financial workbooks and structured reporting outputs.
  • Ability to manage repeatable monthly cycles (reporting, projections, renewal review) and meet timelines.
