GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

Assist consultants and other stakeholders for Canada Health and Benefits domain, delivering RFP/Renewal reports to the Clients. Supporting client teams in the servicing of clients with respect to plan design, contract management and benchmarking. Working with senior team members you will be involved with a variety of client deliverables including but not

limited to contract reviews, plan design summaries and prevalence benchmarking. Delivering reports based on various parameters i.e., premium, claims & Loss ratios. The process involves analysis of healthcare products information provided by vendors & onshore consultants pertaining to premium, claims, plan attributes. You will be involved with a variety of client deliverables that empower our clients to make informed decisions.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (List 6-10 major responsibilities in the role):

The Colleague provides high quality administration support for internal and external clients by:

Operates as part of team under supervision of Project Lead/Ops Manager

  • Lead the preparation and analysis of carrier marketing materials, benefit costings, financial statements, and RFI/RFP submissions to inform pricing strategy, optimize plan design, and support carrier selection.

  • Providing technical advice/expertise for client projects (plan design, financial and underwriting review, flexible benefits pricing, insurance carrier reviews, etc.), including preparing letters and reports.
  • Analyze claims and client data, identify anomalies and cost drivers, estimate future plan costs, and develop pricing/underwriting models and financial analyses.
  • Write/deliver reports that are well prepared and provide expert commentary and observations following the review of contract, amendments, financial agreements, following plan redesigns or changes in the carrier
  • Drafting client ready reports and correspondence
  • Maintain and review data collection and accuracy in Aon's proprietary client information platform
  • Review, audit and maintain client plan information
  • Compare and review plan summaries working with onshore teams
  • Interpret, organize, and analyse client data for specialty insurance products.
  • Prepare clear, client-ready Excel and PowerPoint reports.
  • Collaborate with Aon colleagues to apply standard methodologies and processes.
  • Stakeholder management through regular status updates, query resolution, and proactive communication.
  • Staying current on group benefits industry trends, products, tools, and technology, and applying this knowledge in day-to-day work.
  • Act as a bridge between onshore consultants and insurance vendors to ensure smooth coordination.
  • Manage client and shared mailboxes, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Continuously enhance technical skills and consulting effectiveness through training and self-learning.
  • Contribute to training and capability development of Junior Analysts (e.g., classroom sessions, training material development).



SKILLS

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (logical, financial, math, statistical, and information functions lookups pivot tables dynamic pivots dashboards) and VBA.
  • Advanced experience with VBA, SQL, or Python for process automation (certifications preferred).
  • Knowledge of the Health & Benefits domain.
  • Solid stakeholder management skills.
  • Flexible, proactive, accountable, and highly collaborative with colleagues.
  • Self-driven, with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
