Information about the business:

Creative (CoE)team supports Aon business units across geographies with research, analytics, marketing, proposal support and operational support to client delivery. Its mission is to provide Aon sales, marketing and strategy teams with the information, analysis and insight necessary to make informed decisions across business development, client delivery and strategy

General description of role:

The Digital Production Designer will establish a seamless flow from discovery through build to publication, facilitating incremental improvements for marquee projects and the overall performance of Aon's digital platforms. This role will streamline processes, create operational efficiency, and leverage data to drive enhancements globally.

The role focuses on enhancing user experience, strengthening understanding and application of Aon digital standards, contributing to product innovation, and consistently raising the quality of digital output across key global initiatives.

Job responsibilities:

User Experience (UX) & Design

• Improve understanding of user needs and behavior through user research and usability testing.
• Analyze user flows and interactions, using insights to inform design decisions.
• Deliver intuitive, accessible, and engaging UX/UI solutions that elevate the digital experience.

Brand Standards & Consistency

• Stay current with the latest UI design updates from the Global Creative Team and external partners.
• Ensure all work aligns with Aon's digital standards and brand guidelines.
• Maintain consistency across touchpoints, platforms, and global digital experiences.

Digital Production & Execution

• Create pixel-perfect, brand-aligned designs across websites, social media, digital campaigns, and other digital platforms.
• Translate project briefs and expectations into effective, visually compelling, actionable design solutions.
• Support delivery from concept through publication, ensuring clarity, quality, and alignment at each stage.

Collaboration & Partnership

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and internal stakeholders.
• Partner with Design Leads and the Digital Centre of Excellence to streamline project delivery.
• Enhance communication and alignment across teams to ensure project expectations are clearly understood and delivered.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Generate innovative ideas and solutions to enhance product competitiveness and digital experience quality.
• Visually articulate and realize standout digital and physical brand experiences for clients and colleagues.
• Actively seek feedback from peers, mentors, and stakeholders to improve the design process, personal skills, and overall output.
• Embrace a growth mindset and adapt to evolving guidelines.

Skills/competencies required:

• Demonstrated ability to deliver UX/UI solutions for websites, social media, and digital campaigns.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD, as well as Figma.
• Familiarity with Adobe Express and responsive design principles.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for effective collaboration with development teams.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards, including WCAG, and inclusive design best practices.
• Strong grasp of user-centered design principles, usability testing, and data-driven design.
• Experience working with design systems and maintaining consistency across touchpoints.
• Experience with AI production tools and delivering content for translated or international audiences is a plus.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in a business setting.
• Ability to interpret briefs and translate them into actionable design solutions.
• Comfortable giving and receiving feedback in a collaborative environment.
• Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality, execution, and brand alignment.
• Growth mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in digital design.
• Corporate or in-house experience highly regarded.
• Experience working within a project management tool is critical.
• Experience collaborating with developers and product managers in agile or iterative workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in Building, Digital Media, or related field, or equivalent experience in practice.
• English speaker with ability to communicate fluently in a business setting, both written and spoken.
• Design portfolio required.
