General description of role:
The Data & Analytics Engineer is a key member of the AUM Insights (AUMI) team, responsible for designing, building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, transformation processes and analytical data assets that support AUM's reporting, analytics and decision-making requirements. The role focuses primarily on data engineering and data platform activities, ensuring data is ingested, transformed, validated and made available for reporting, analytics and operational use. Working across Databricks and related data platforms and technologies, the Data & Analytics Engineer develops and maintains reliable data pipelines, curated datasets and data products that enable business reporting and analytics, while also supporting the delivery of Power BI datasets and dashboards. The role is expected to develop a strong understanding of the AUM data landscape, reporting requirements and key business processes, building high-quality, scalable data solutions that support stakeholders across Underwriting, Operations, Finance and Leadership teams
