JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· 2-3 years experience is desirable.
· Previous proposal support or content management experience will be an added advantage; familiarity and understanding of Insurance & benefits industry/terminology and or consulting industry/terminology is a plus.
· Ability to read and interpret proposal questions and RFP documents with the ability to identify content within the database that responds to the intent of the question fully
· Attention to detail to ensure accurate data capture when transferring content in/out of proposals and the database.
· Strong sense of urgency as it pertains to client and client team deadlines.
· Proactively follow-up and resolve any issues to ensure deadlines and client needs are met.
· Accountable for providing support on proposal support in-line with SLA requirements, timelines and quality standards while ensuring high level of internal and external client satisfaction.
· Provides day to day support to the onshore writers and production assistants as needed.
· Works closely with onshore writers, production assistants, and content managers to support:
o Proposal response template creation – working within the RFP support tool to format the original document (word, PDF, etc.) and develop the structure for the response according to Aon branding and formatting
o Ongoing formatting – formatting of proposal documents during the RFP response process, ad hoc formatting of database content related to content management
o Forms and Appendices - Format appendices to facilitate population, and format and populate forms with required generic Aon content (e.g. Fed Tax ID, headquarters address, diversity statements, etc.)
o Content Management - facilitate content management process through downloading and formatting content for SME review, sending content to SMEs based on predetermined schedule and content area, collect SME responses with new/updated content, and upload content into database once it has been peer reviewed by onshore content manager
· Escalates issues to onshore writers and production assistants as they arise
· Participates in unit-wide initiatives as assigned with a view to driving operational excellence
· Enhances technical skills and personal effectiveness through training, education and coaching.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
· Extremely strong English communication skills to communicate effectively with team members and to understand and interpret RFP questions and accurate responses
· Strong timelines
· Listening skills
· High proficiency in MS suite with expertise in MS PPT and Word
