Job Description

The Incubation & Entrepreneurship Manager will identify, nurture, and support early-stage

innovators and community enterprises. The role requires significant field engagement and

hands-on support to help first-generation entrepreneurs move from idea to pilot, enterprise

creation, and market linkage.

Key Responsibilities

Community Innovation & Incubation

Identify grassroots innovations and enterprise opportunities.

Support problem validation, solution design, prototyping, and pilot implementation.

Design and execute pre-incubation and incubation programs.

Provide one-on-one mentoring to first-time entrepreneurs.

Program Design & Execution

Plan bootcamps, mentoring programs, workshops, and demo days.

Coordinate technical, business, financial, and regulatory experts.

Track progress through milestones and documentation.

Ecosystem & Market Linkages

Build partnerships with MSMEs, FPOs, cooperatives, CSR partners, and government

agencies.

Support access to grants, schemes, pilots, customers, and funding opportunities.

Facilitate mentor and expert networks.

Reporting & Compliance

Maintain incubation records and impact metrics.

Support reporting requirements for stakeholders including AIM/NITI Aayog.

Ensure alignment with ACIC objectives and guidelines.

Expected Outcomes in the First 12 Months

Build a strong pipeline of grassroots innovators and entrepreneurs.

Launch and manage incubation/pre-incubation cohorts.

Support creation and growth of community enterprises and startups.

Facilitate pilot projects, market access, and ecosystem partnerships.

Contribute to measurable livelihood and entrepreneurship outcomes.

Ideal Candidate Profile

3–7 years of experience in incubation, entrepreneurship development, livelihoods, rural

development, CSR, or social enterprise.

Strong execution and problem-solving orientation.

Comfortable working with first-generation and non-English-speaking entrepreneurs.

Understanding of grassroots innovation, small businesses, and community enterprises.

Fluency in Marathi preferred.

Willingness to travel and work in the field.
