The Information Technology group delivers secure, reliable technology solutions that enable DTCC to be the trusted infrastructure of the global capital markets. - DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).
The Impact you will have in this role:
Reporting to the Director, Monitoring and Incident Response, you are responsible for managing a functional team of analysts and associates who detect, investigate, and respond to cyber security events in the organization. As a first-line manager, you provide both technical leadership and people management for your team, overseeing key projects and initiatives as well as ensuring day-to-day operations operate effectively. As the senior member of your functional team, you are a member of the Cybersecurity Management & Incident Response (CMIR) Team and as a result may be tasked with responding to cyber incidents outside of normal work hours.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Be accountable for your team's day to day operations and strategic performance.
- Model appropriate behavior, attitude, and tone for your team.
- Effectively delegate tasks, empower team members, and remove impediments to accomplish the mission.
- Effectively communicate expectations, goals, and objectives to the team.
- Act as Incident Commander on major (P1) incidents and as an escalation point for your team for critical tasks.
- Set and achieve high-quality goals and objectives for the team and work with team members to develop high-performing individual goals that align with team goals.
- Attract and retain high-quality team members that match with the team's mission and objectives.
- Evaluate, train, mentor, and develop each of your team members to make them as successful as possible at DTCC.
- Utilize metrics, feedback from team leads, feedback from stakeholders, threat intelligence, and industry best practices to continuously evaluate and improve security posture.
- Lead and evangelize training, process improvements, reporting, and other key initiatives.
- Occasionally travel to conferences, training, and other DTCC offices (up to 20%).
- Be the escalation contact for on-call rotation and perform emergency after-hours work when needed.
- Create messaging, socialize CMIR programs, and evangelize security at DTCC.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Incident Management or similar critical facility environment

ABOUT THE TEAM
Our Risk Management teams work to protect the safety and soundness of our systems and are responsible for identifying, managing, measuring and mitigating a spectrum of key risk types including credit, market, liquidity, systemic, operational and technology in all existing and new products, activities, processes and systems.
The Global Security Management department provides a general and specialized work force to enforce the rules, regulations, and procedures of DTCC. Responsible for the protection of all DTCC assets, to include the protection of data processing and telecommunications equipment, and to provide a safe and secure workplace for employees.
