Job Title: Travel Sales Manager (INBOUND)

Role Summary:
Hi DMC, with over 30 years of expertise as a trusted Destination Management Company (DMC), is seeking a dynamic and result-driven Travel Sales Manager to drive B2B sales across India and the Subcontinent, including Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Mauritius and the Maldives.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the complete sales cycle from enquiry handling and proposal preparation to costing, client coordination, and supporting operational execution.
This role requires a strong understanding of inbound travel products, sharp commercial and costing skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Foreign Tour Operators (FTOs), B2B partners, and internal operations teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
Job Roles and Responsibilities:
1. B2B Sales & Business Development-
- Handle enquiries from B2B agents, FTOs, and international partners.
- Promote Hi DMCs India and Subcontinent product portfolio.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with foreign tour operators and B2B travel partners.
- Follow up consistently to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Negotiate pricing and terms to close profitable deals.
2. Proposal Writing & Costing
- Prepare detailed, well-structured itineraries and customized proposals.
- Create competitive and accurate costings for India & Subcontinent destinations.
- Maintain profitability while ensuring attractive pricing for clients.
- Share professional quotations, presentations, and brochures.
- Revise and tailor proposals based on agent/client feedback.
3. FTO & Client Coordination
- Coordinate closely with Foreign Tour Operators (FTOs) and B2B agents.
- Respond to queries promptly and professionally.
- Manage pre-booking clarifications and documentation.
- Ensure smooth handover to operations after booking confirmation.
- Maintain clear communication from enquiry stage to execution stage.
4. Sales Coordination & Operations Support
- Coordinate internally with reservations, contracting, transport, and accounts teams.
- Assist with booking confirmations and vendor follow-ups where required.
- Support smooth execution of tours through proactive coordination.
- Monitor payment timelines and assist in invoice follow-ups.
- Handle last-minute changes or service amendments with a solution-oriented approach.
5. CRM & Reporting
- Update CRM systems with enquiries, quotations, follow-ups, and booking status.
- Maintain detailed records of communication and costing sheets.
- Track conversion ratios and sales performance metrics.
- Ensure all documentation is properly maintained in internal systems.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of inbound B2B travel to India & Subcontinent (Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka).
- Experience working with FTOs and international B2B agents.
- Excellent costing and itinerary-building skills.
- Strong negotiation and international sales exposure.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Minimum 7 to 11 years of experience in B2B inbound travel sales.
- Creative, analytical, strong problem-solving abilities.
