Job Title: Inbound Lead
Department: Supply Chain
Reporting To: Warehouse Ops Manager
Experience : 3-5 Years
Role Summary
The Inbound Department Executive is responsible for managing the receipt of goods, verifying incoming materials, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, and ensuring accurate inventory updates in the warehouse management system. The role ensures smooth inbound operations while maintaining quality and process compliance.
Key Responsibilities
· Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices.
· Ensure proper unloading and physical inspection of goods.
· Update GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and inventory records in the system.
· Coordinate with procurement, quality, and warehouse teams for smooth operations.
· Track pending inward shipments and follow up with vendors or transporters.
· Maintain accurate documentation of inward material receipts.
· Identify damaged, short, or excess materials and report discrepancies.
· Ensure FIFO and inventory handling procedures are followed.
· Maintain warehouse safety and housekeeping standards.
· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inbound reports.
Required Skills
· Knowledge of warehouse and inventory processes
· Basic understanding of ERP/WMS systems -
· Good communication and coordination skills
· Attention to detail and accuracy
· Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting
Qualifications
Graduate / Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
