Job Description & Summary:

This role requires strong technical financial modelling expertise coupled with proven team management skills to lead, mentor, and coordinate the modelling function across deal execution and strategic

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of complex financial models to support deal structuring, valuation, data strategy, and other key strategic decisions.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Data Strategy, Valuation, Finance, and Business Development to gather relevant inputs and assumptions for model creation.

  • Oversee a team of financial modelling analysts, providing guidance, training, and performance management to ensure high-quality deliverables.

  • Drive standardization and documentation of modelling methodologies and best practices within the deals team.

  • Analyze model outputs to identify key business drivers, risks, and opportunities and present meaningful insights to senior stakeholders.

  • Support deal execution processes such as M&A transactions, capital raising, and investment appraisals through accurate and timely financial modelling.

  • Ensure integrity and consistency in all financial models by implementing rigorous review and validation processes.

  • Mentor and develop junior team members to build capacity and foster a collaborative team environment.
