Job Description & Summary:

A career in Procurement, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to develop and manage the procurement of all goods and services required by PwC for operational and strategic purposes. As part of this team, you'll assist in developing standard practices and compliance infrastructures, managing relationships for both internal clients and suppliers to help strategically select suppliers, improve supplier diversity, and negotiate contracts.

As a Senior Associate in Procurement, you will be responsible for acquiring services and capital equipment and goods for PwC. You will serve as the relationship manager for both internal clients and suppliers, seeking appropriate solutions for all sourcing needs, and managing the creation, review, and negotiation of contracts.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Associate in Procurement, you will be expected to:

  • Strategic IT Procurement: Lead the procurement of IT-related goods and services, including hardware and software.
  • Problem Solving: Demonstrate critical thinking to bring order to unstructured problems, and develop innovative approaches to sourcing.
  • Cost Efficiency & Improvement: Identify best procurement practices and drive continuous improvements to achieve cost efficiencies.
  • Analytics & Decision-Making: Use analytics and processes to evaluate sourcing options and assess the impact of each scenario, including benefits, risks, and change management.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and influence relationships with business stakeholders, explaining your recommendations and their benefits.
  • Sourcing Activities: Manage the sourcing process by preparing, issuing, and evaluating bid and RFx requests.
  • Contract Collaboration: Work with legal and internal business clients to prepare, analyze, negotiate, and revise commercial contracts, including master agreements, supply agreements, NDAs, and statements of work.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Provide analytical and reporting support to drive improvements in team performance, oversight, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Ethics & Compliance: Uphold PwC's code of ethics and business conduct in all procurement activities.

Mandatory Skill Sets:

  • IT Procurement: Strong experience in procuring IT-related services, hardware, and software.
  • Hardware & Software Procurement: Specific experience in the procurement of hardware and software components.

Preferred Skill Sets:

  • Strategic Sourcing: Experience with strategic sourcing to optimize the selection of suppliers and solutions.

Years of Experience Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, with a focus on IT procurement.

Education Qualification:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields such as:
  • Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)
  • Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA)
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Master of Commerce (M.Com)
