Responsibilities:

As a Infrastructure Engineer you will have the following knowledge and skills:

• Extensive experience with network and server management.
• Understanding of hyperscalers (any) is expected.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of virtualisation technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
• Strong knowledge of security best practices and tools.
• Familiarity with monitoring and performance management tools.
• A technical expert who uses your specialised skills to provide advice to others.
• Ability to solve more complex task problems leveraging basic experience, analysis,
  
  

specific guidance provided and judgement.

• Ability to provide daily direction and supervision for more junior members of the
  
  

team (if applicable).

• Ability to plan priorities for the year and manage your own responsibilities and
  
  

workload based on direction.

• Ability to complete bigger tasks with direct contribution to large projects and/or lead
  
  

small scale improvements

Mandatory skill sets:

The Infrastructure team is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the

organisation's IT backbone, including networks, servers, data centres, and cloud services.

The team ensures robust security, manages data storage and backup solutions, and

provides technical support and roubleshooting. The team also handles vendor relations, procurement, and compliance with relevant regulations. By optimising performance and

planning for future needs, the Infrastructure team ensures the stability, security, and

efficiency of the IT environment, enabling seamless operations across the organisation.

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and

maintaining the IT infrastructure of our organisation. You will ensure that our systems are robust, scalable, and secure, supporting the business needs and enabling smooth

operations.
