Job Description & Summary: The SAP FICO Senior Associate is responsible for leading the design, implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP FICO modules. This role requires an indepth understanding of financial lifecycles, including the Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Lead Project Implementation: Lead project activities for SAP FICO implementations, enhancements, and rollouts, ensuring deliverables align with quality standards and timelines. Functional Expertise: Provide expert advice on best practices in SAP FICO areas, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA). Process Documentation & Analysis: Lead the gathering and documentation of detailed business requirements and functional specifications, ensuring clarity and detail for project teams. Conduct gap analyses to identify business needs and map them to SAP FICO functionalities. Testing and Quality Assurance: Oversee and participate in testing cycles (Unit, Integration, UAT) and support quality assurance efforts by validating deliverables against requirements. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including MM and SD, to ensure seamless integration and translate complex business requirements into actionable technical specifications. Mentorship & Improvement: Mentor junior consultants and stay updated on SAP FICO functionalities and advancements, including S/4HANA Finance and Fiori applications,
