Job Description

Job purpose / Objective:The purpose of this position is to develop clear vision and strategy to achieve the long term plant vision and enable thesame using systematic obsolescence management, installing agile tools and review mechanisms to realize the KPIs/KPR

1. MAE Maintenance And Technical Availability:
Promote prompt diagnosis, troubleshooting & quick response in resolving issues with machines and equipment to restore functionality, prevent downtime, and improve overall reliability with the aim of ensuring technical availability of machines to meet value stream and other stakeholders requirements.

KRA: MTTR and MTBF, Machine Availability

2. Competence Development :

Facilitate and develop competencies of WC & BC in critical maintenance areas such as assemblies, systems, slides, spindles, etc.
Enhance WC & BC, temporary workforce and CL competencies aligned with future strategy, new technologies, and digital skills (AI, IoT, Industry 4.0, data analysis

3. Reliability Of MAE:

Manage MAE obsolescence, facilitate business continuity by enhancing MTBF & MTTR with structured approach. Enhance predictive & preventive maintenance and minimize technical losses. Benchmark maintenance activities across IPN for optimal safety, quality, cost, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
KRA: CAPEX fulfilment, Preventive and Predictive, Maintenance Compliance, Planned vs unplanned PM orders,
TPM Assessment score

4.Spare And Cost Management:
Facilitate optimum planning of maintenance spares, inventory, consumable, Control the R&M budget, guide the team on costsaving projects through localizations, alternate sourcing, modifications, and design changes.
Promote In-house/local repair and refurbishment to promote cost-competitiveness

5.Collaboration:
Facilitate integration of maintenance in VSO, lean concepts and align with VSO and BPS targets.
Improve customer satisfaction Survey & Employee experience Benchmarking with IPN / APAC / RO-IN plants on technological challenges, upgradation, repairs, spares to promote collaboration and networking
KRA: ICSS Score, VSO Adherence

6.People Development:
Drive High Performance culture and VCS initiatives. Promote leadership development of WC
Encouraging the usage of new tools like agile approach, speed
weeks, scrum etc... Internal Customer satisfaction survey, customer centricity

Qualifications

Education

. B.Tech./B.E. (Industrial Engineering/Mechanical/Automobile/Electrical/Electronics)
. MBA / Post Graduate Diploma in Management (desirable)

Experience

. 12-15 years of relevant experience (minimum 3 years experience at leadership position)
. Experience in maintenance processes and models e.g. Reactive, Preventive, Predictive ability based
maintenance, spares management, Inventory control etc.
Competency requirements

Additional Information

Knowledge on Cloud technologies preferred.

Basic Knowledge on IIoT, hardware architecture, SDLC etc.
