  • Gather regulatory intelligence and prepare periodic reports on relevant regulatory developments.
  • Engage proactively with regulatory authorities and represent the organization in regulatory meetings, AIS, and BIS panels.
  • Establish and maintain regular engagement with concerned Ministries, Government departments, and test agencies to provide updates on schemes, policies, and regulatory matters relevant to Bosch.
  • Track ongoing Government schemes and develop a structured process for effective internal information dissemination.
  • Work in close coordination with Ministries and Government departments to obtain necessary approvals related to licenses, NOCs, exemptions, and similar regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all company activities are compliant with applicable government standards and reporting obligations.
  • Prepare white papers and policy briefs to support advocacy and strategic decisionmaking.
  • Navigate Government procurement processes, monitor tendering opportunities, and create strategic partnership opportunities for the organization.
  • Identify potential business and regulatory risks in advance and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics) from a reputed institute with 8+ years of experience in Automotive Policies and Regulations.
  • Strong understanding of the automotive industry, regulatory frameworks, and regulation formulation processes.
  • Prior experience engaging with Government bodies, Ministries, and industry associations.
  • Proven ability in regulatory intelligence gathering, risk assessment, and policy evaluation.
  • Experience in drafting technical reports, white papers, and policy briefs, and benchmarking against international practices.
  • Capability to support licenses, approvals, exemptions, and regulatory clearances, with basic knowledge of import/export and customs processes.
  • Proactive, wellnetworked professional with strong communication, presentation, and stakeholdermanagement skills, and a collaborative teamoriented approach.
