Tasks & Responsibilities:

  1. Technical support to customers (OEMs) for the ABS/ESP and NBS Hydraulic Unit (HU) development. On time support to customer requests.
  2. Coordination of the HU- Engineering tasks within the Global HU-PCM Customer Interface Teams (CIT)
  3. Responsible for ensuring readiness of various project specific documents/processes eg. Offer Drawings (OD), Technical Customer Documentation (TCD), Quality Gate (QG) fulfillments, BOMs releases etc.
  4. Support and collaboration in the project team from acquisition phase, serial delivery up to end of production for ABS/ESP/NBS projects
  5. Project assessment of new customer projects.
  6. Requirements Management & development: In-depth understanding of customer requirements, Specification comparison, Specification finalization & customer + Internal documents release
  7. Interface between customer project and platform development at lead projects
  8. Planning & Execution of Validation requirement & alignment with the test lab.
  9. Support to TPM in quality audits (IATF)

Deliverables:

  1. Product BOM (inc. AT container, final assy BOMs inc. ECU & CSW management as component )
  2. Offer/Assembly Drawing, Project Technical Customer Documentation,
  3. Validation definition-follow-up, Assembly FMEA,
  4. PE self-assessment (incl. Risk awareness & management related documents), & reporting,
  5. ECR (customer request), aftermarket documentation (if applicable).

Shaping Future: Product strategy

Operational excellence: Cost targets, Quality targets, Project Timeline

Supplier: Localization, RPP


Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical/Production,

Experience: 24 years of experience in Product Design & Development in Automotive industry

  • Strong know-how of New product development process for customer projects
  • Know-how of Technical Requirements management , Engineering Design (Drawings , CAD data, SAP BOMs ) , Engineering of Hydraulic components ...
  • Knowledge of Engineering processes eg. FMEAs , Design reviews,
  • Self starter, strong customer focus with ability to work closely and deliver timely as per project schedule.
  • Ability to work in cross functional teams as well as independently. Collaborate with global & local Bosch locations
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Good analytical skills, commercial acumen and entrepreneurial mindset, perform under challenging situations
  • Able to think and quickly respond in critical situations
