Those in internal audit at PwC help build, optimise and deliver end-to-end internal audit services to clients in all industries. This includes IA function setup and transformation, co-sourcing, outsourcing and managed services, using AI and other risk technology and delivery models. IA capabilities are combined with other industry and technical expertise, in areas like cyber, forensics and compliance, to address the full spectrum of risks. Role Summary


The Senior Microsoft Purview Consultant willleadend‑to‑endPurview implementations, design enterprise compliance architectures, and act as atrusted advisorfor data protection, insider risk,and regulatory compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Architect and leadMicrosoft Purview deploymentsacross:
  

• Information Protection &Auto‑Classification
  

• Enterprise & Endpoint DLP
  

• Insider Risk Management & Adaptive Protection
  

• eDiscovery (Standard & Premium)
  

• Audit (Standard & Premium)
  

• Records & Data Lifecycle Management
  

• Designlabel taxonomy, retention models, and policy hierarchiesaligned to business risk and regulation
  

• Leadstakeholder workshopswith Legal, Compliance, HR, InfoSec, and IT
  

• OwnInsider Risk & eDiscoveryoperating models, workflows, and escalation paths
  

• Integrate Purview controls withMicrosoft Defender, Intune, and identity signals
  

• Provide governance forCopilot and AI readinessusing classification and DLP controls
  

• Mentor junior consultants and review technical designs
  

• Define KPIs, compliance maturity models, andvalue‑realizationmetrics
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–6 years of experience inM365 Security & Compliance, withdeep Purview leadership
  

• Hands‑onexpertisein:
  

• Purview Information Protection &Auto‑labelingstrategies
  

• Endpoint DLP, Adaptive Protection, Insider Risk
  

• eDiscovery Premium & legal hold strategy
  

• Compliance Manager & audit readiness
  

• Strong understanding ofglobal regulatory requirements(GDPR, DPDPA, HIPAA, SOX, PCI‑DSS)
  

• Proven experience inenterprise or regulated-industry deployments
  

• SC‑400 certification – mandatory
  
  

Mandatory Skill sets:

• PowerShell automation for Purview policy management
  

• Experience withmulti‑geoand large M365 tenants
  

• Consulting or GSI delivery experience
  

• Executive‑levelcommunication and solution storytelling
  

• Reduction in data leakage and compliance risk
  

• Successful audits and investigations
  

• Business adoption of labels and DLP with low friction
  

• Scalable andfuture‑proofcompliance architecture
