Job Description & Summary:

PwC Technology is the global IT organization in PwC, providing a range of shared services and technology standards to over 350,000 people across 150 PwC member firms.

This role is within the Endpoint Engineering team that delivers the Endpoint Experience service to PwC member firms. The Endpoint Experience Service delivers a consistent user experience to all mobile, MAC, Windows and VDIs to PwC staff.

This role will have a specific focus on designing and building solutions and ensuring high quality changes are delivered using internally defined processes.

The successful candidate must be a technical expert in creating code/developing applications for Windows 11 and/or MAC OS environments and have a developing knowledge of integrating AI into their work.

Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities for this Application Development role include: -

• Work as an Application Engineer by developing applications and solutions that will improve user experience or address threats across more than 350,000 Windows and MAC endpoints. This involves gathering requirements, development of the code and following the release management process.
• Resolving escalated support tickets from the Level 2/3 support teams
• Documenting operational processes and creation of KB articles
• Collaborate with vendors, internal teams(design/security/network) to develop and troubleshoot solutions
• Keep informed about the latest developments and best practices in Microsoft and Apple technologies.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
• Communicate technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Developing withing complex Windows environments, ensuring optimal performance, high availability, and security.
