Video Editing Intern / Junior Video Editor

Chatterjee Productions is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our in-office production team in Howrah. You will work on real client projects, mainly short-form social media content, reels and motion graphics.

Responsibilities:

• Edit reels, short-form videos and social media content.
• Work with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Add captions, transitions, basic motion graphics, sound effects and music.
• Follow established editing styles, guidelines and creative direction.
• Make revisions based on feedback.
• Maintain good editing quality while consistently meeting deadlines.
• Organize project files and maintain a clean workflow.
• Gradually take responsibility for projects independently as your skills improve.

What we're looking for:

• Good understanding of video editing and visual storytelling.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of After Effects is preferred.
• Good sense of pacing, composition and music.
• Willingness to learn and improve.
• Ability to follow instructions and work within a structured workflow.
• Strong commitment to deadlines and consistency.
• Portfolio/work samples are required.

Work Details:

• Location: Howrah, West Bengal
• Work type: Full-time, In-office
• Working days: Monday–Saturday
• Initial period: 2-month paid probation/training
• During probation: 250 per completed project
• Based on performance, there may be an opportunity to transition to a fixed salary of 12,000/month-15,000/month after the probation period.
