We're Hiring: In-House QA Engineer (Manual + Automation)

Location: In-office (Surat)

Product: SaaS Platform We're looking for an in-house QA Engineer who actually owns product quality, not someone who just clicks around and files shallow bug reports.

If you can't understand code, APIs, or how a SaaS system really works, this role is not for you.

What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end quality of our SaaS product
• Design test plans, test cases, and edge-case scenarios
• Perform exploratory, regression, and release testing
• Break features before users do
• Test complex flows: auth, roles, permissions, billing, real-time features
• Validate APIs, frontend behavior, and data consistency
• Write automation tests where they actually matter
• Collaborate daily with developers & product team
• Block releases if quality isn't up to the mark

What You Must Know (Non-Negotiable)

Strong manual testing fundamentals Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman / REST tools) Programming knowledge in JavaScript / TypeScript or Python Ability to read and understand production code Git, bug tracking tools, and basic CI/CD awareness

Big Plus If You Have

• SaaS or startup experience
• Testing real-time systems (WebSockets / Socket.IO)
• Basic database validation (MongoDB / SQL)
• Performance or security testing awareness
