Position Overview:

The Neonatology Consultant provides specialized medical care for newborns, particularly those who are premature, ill, or require intensive care. This role involves diagnosing and treating a range of neonatal conditions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and guiding medical staff in providing high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and treat neonates in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) and other care settings.
Work with pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
Provide expert consultations for complex cases, including intrauterine infections, congenital anomalies, and respiratory distress.
Mentor and educate residents, medical students, and nursing staff on best practices in neonatal care.
Participate in clinical research initiatives and quality improvement projects to advance neonatal care.
Communicate effectively with families about their infant's condition, treatment options, and care processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

MBBS, MD / DNB / Fellowship
Must have at least 3-5 years of relevant experience (post PG) in a consultancy role.
KMC certificate.
