Job Description & Summary:

The role focuses on driving the firm's people strategy, creating a unique people experience, and supporting firm-wide values. The team acts as a bridge between leadership and employees, handling operation management, strategic partnership, employee relations, and emergency response.

Job Position Title: IN_Associate_BUHC-Human Capital_IFS_Chennai

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with BU/HC leadership to develop HR strategies that meet business objectives.
  • Propose new HR initiatives, policies, and processes.
  • Identify critical positions and develop succession plans.
  • Deploy the performance management agenda, including goal setting and appraisal administration.
  • Advise business leaders on employee performance plans and standards.
  • Lead year-end moderation discussions for fair employee appraisals and promotions.
  • Manage annual compensation reviews with Total Rewards CoE.
  • Coach managers on performance coaching discussions.
  • Implement and promote HR policies, plans, and initiatives.
  • Execute special HC projects with business leaders.
  • Manage exit interviews and analyze data to improve retention.
  • Manage sensitive employee relation cases per OGC procedures.

  • Meticulous, committed attitude with attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of general HC policies and processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Preferred skill sets:

  • Experience in developing and deploying HR strategies aligned with business needs.
  • Ability to propose and implement HR initiatives, policies, and processes.
  • Skill in identifying critical positions and succession planning.
  • Expertise in performance management and appraisal processes.
  • Capability in managing compensation reviews and coaching for performance discussions.
  • Proficiency in driving special Human Capital projects.
  • Competence in handling sensitive employee relation cases and exit interview processes.

Years of experience required:5 to 6 years

Education qualification: Master's degree, MBA preferred
