Import Specialist

Role & Responsibilities:

• Minimum 10+ years in a Purchase and Import activities
• Should have import purchase (Mandatory)experience in manufacturing domain.
• Ensure specifications, quality standards, and delivery timelines are met.
• Prepare and manage import documentation (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin)
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, tariffs, and international trade laws.
• Optimize transportation costs and delivery times.
• Resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or supply disruptions.
• Responsible for PR to PO activity for Import suppliers
• Responsible for procurement of material
• Supplier follow up
• Import custom clearance and Coordination
• Price negotiation with freight forwarder and CHA
• Track shipments and manage order status updates.
• Prepare reports on costs, supplier performance, and procurement efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of import transactions.
