Location: Noida, Sector 132

Work Mode: Work From Office (WFO)

Experience: 5–11 years

Salary Budget: ₹6–9 LPA

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Import Manager – Operations to manage and coordinate end-to-end import activities, including shipment planning, documentation, customs clearance, regulatory compliance, and coordination with overseas suppliers and clearing agents.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in import operations, customs procedures, import documentation, and compliance, with the ability to independently manage shipments and resolve operational issues.

Key Responsibilities

Manage complete import operations from shipment initiation through customs clearance and final delivery.

Coordinate with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and internal teams for smooth shipment execution.

Coordinate shipment schedules and ensure timely receipt of all required import documents.

Review and verify Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading/Airway Bills, Certificates of Origin, Insurance Documents, and other statutory documents.

Coordinate with Customs House Agents (CHAs) / Customs Brokers for timely and accurate customs clearance.

Ensure compliance with applicable customs regulations, import procedures, government policies, and statutory requirements.

Track shipments from origin to destination and proactively identify and resolve delays, documentation discrepancies, and clearance issues.

Maintain accurate records of import transactions, customs documents, and compliance-related paperwork.

Monitor import costs, clearance timelines, and shipment status.

Prepare MIS and periodic reports covering shipment status, clearance performance, pending shipments, and operational issues.

Stay updated on changes in customs regulations, import policies, duties, and other applicable statutory requirements.

Coordinate with Finance/Accounts for import-related payments, duties, and documentation wherever required.

Ensure smooth coordination between suppliers, logistics partners, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, International Trade, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Certification/Diploma in Import-Export Management will be an added advantage.

Experience:

5–11 years of relevant experience in import operations, documentation, logistics, or international trade.

Strong hands-on experience in import documentation and customs clearance.

Good understanding of customs procedures, import compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Experience working with CHAs/Customs Brokers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and overseas suppliers.
