Accounting Domain Expertise and Gap Analysis

  • Translate accounting pain-points (e.g., vendor TDS mismatches, unapplied receipts, debit notes, reconciliation) into actionable implementation tasks.

  • Develop training materials, SOP's, and user guides written from an accounting perspective, not a generic tech manual.

  • Communicate project status, risks, and timelines clearly to client stakeholders — maintaining transparency at every stage.

Implementation and Project Execution

  • Own end-to-end implementation plans — from kick-off to go-live — ensuring on-time delivery for each client.
  • Coordinate with the Tech and QA team to resolve technical issues, data mapping challenges, and ERP integration queries.
  • Manage post-go-live support, ensuring smooth user adoption and resolving accounting workflow queries.

Product Feedback and Continuous Improvement

  • Capture real-world client feedback on accounting edge cases and relay structured insights to the Product
  • team.
  • Identify feature gaps where the software does not yet meet accounting requirements, and contribute to the product roadmap from the field.

Must-Have — Accounting and Finance Knowledge

  • Degree in B.Com / M.Com / Inter CA / Inter CMA — accounting-first background is non-negotiable.
  • Solid working knowledge of AP and AR processes: invoice lifecycle, reconciliation, TDS, GST implications, debit/credit notes, aging reports.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software — SAP (preferred), Tally, or equivalent ERP.
  • Ability to read and interpret ledgers, trial balances, and exception reports.

Must-Have — Communication and Training Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English; ability to simplify complex accounting concepts for varied audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience in training, teaching, or client-facing roles — the ability to present with confidence and clarity.
  • Strong stakeholder management, comfortable engaging with accounts teams, IT teams, and senior finance leadership.

Must-Have — Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

  • Strong analytical thinking to map client accounting workflows, identify implementation risks, and propose solutions.
  • Ability to connect the dots between what the client needs, what the software does, and what needs to be developed or configured.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple client implementations simultaneously without dropping the ball.
