Implementation Engineer

Role Description The Implementation Engineer role at FOCTTA is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru/ Mumbai. The person in this role will configure and deploy FOCTTA's privacy operations platform for customers, translating business requirements into technical solutions and implementation plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing implementation projects, integrating FOCTTA with client systems, providing technical support during and after deployment, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to resolve issues. The Implementation Engineer will also work closely with customer stakeholders to conduct onboarding sessions, document configurations, and ensure a smooth handover to support and customer success teams. This role requires proactive communication, a focus on delivery timelines, and a commitment to high-quality customer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Software Implementation and Project Implementation, with experience configuring and deploying SaaS or enterprise software solutions.
• Proficiency in Technical Support, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and working with cross-functional technical teams.
• Solid Customer Service capabilities, with the ability to manage expectations, communicate clearly, and build trust with client stakeholders.
• Foundational Project Management skills to plan, track, and deliver implementation milestones on schedule.
• Understanding of data privacy, security, or compliance domains (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27001) is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, and basic scripting or configuration languages is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, collaborate within diverse teams, and communicate effectively in English.
