About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Implementation Engineer with strong expertise in Python, Unix/Linux environments, and containerized systems. The role involves working with complex, high-performance systems in the financial markets domain, including exposure to OneTick, a proprietary time-series database and real-time analytics platform.
This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy problem-solving, collaborating with global teams, and working closely with clients in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain Python-based solutions for data processing and system integration
- Work on Unix/Linux environments using Bash scripting for automation and operational tasks
- Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Support workflow orchestration and scheduling using Airflow
- Write and maintain unit tests using Pytest
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Scrum/Agile methodologies
- Use GitLab CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment automation
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and ensure high system reliability
- Engage with clients to understand requirements and support implementation activities
Technical Skills & Tools:
- Programming: Python 3 (strong hands-on experience)
- Scripting: Unix/Linux, Bash
- Data & Analysis: Pandas (good to have), JupyterHub
- DevOps & Cloud: Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow
- CI/CD: GitLab CI/CD
- IDEs & Tools: PyCharm or equivalent IDE
- Collaboration: Jira, Confluence

- Strong Python expertise with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience
- Experience working with complex, distributed systems
- Ability to understand system interactions and troubleshoot issues efficiently
