Your background
- Minimum 3 years of food production experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in a multicultural environment.
- Food Safety qualification (mandatory).
- Good communication skills in English and the local language.
- Proven ability to organise, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
- Experience in facility, service, meeting, or equivalent operational environments is an advantage.
- Experience from IKEA Food is preferred.
Your responsibilities
In This Role, You Will
- Plan and create menus together with the Food Production team, ensuring variety, quality, and affordability.
- Prepare and serve delicious, appealing, healthy, and sustainable food and beverages for daily service and on-site catering.
- Ensure food safety, quality, and compliance by implementing global and local IKEA standards and legal requirements.
- Deliver a seamless food experience by securing food availability, presentation, communication, and efficient service times.
- Handle inventory management, purchasing, and price calculations with accuracy and cost awareness.
- Actively support IKEA's sustainability agenda, with a strong focus on waste reduction and responsible resource use.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure it is always safe and fully operational.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by acting on feedback from co-workers and visitors.
- Be flexible and support cross-functional collaboration within Workplace Support when needed.
- Participate as a member of the first aid and rescue team.
