Job Description :
Minimum 3 -5 years experience in Windows IIS support and application administrations.
Good Understanding of ADFS/Identity Management Application (Setup and Administration).
Should have good understanding of 3 tier application architecture
Good work experience on any incident management, problem management, change management tool like CA Service Desk
Knowledge and experience on administering Windows Servers: 2012, 2016, 2019 etc.
Awareness of network topologies, specifically around Firewalls, Load-balancers, SSL offloading, VLANs / routing, NAS / SAN technologies
Thorough understanding and experience on administering IIS (various versions)
Should be actively supporting the deployment of .NET based Web applications on IIS servers and should have worked on IIS meta base changes using scripting methods.
Good experience in concepts of Load Balancing technology primarily F5/Big-IP with knowledge on algorithms and health check options, SSL termination, iRule programming/ troubleshooting, etc.
Should have implementation knowledge on various reverse proxy techniques such as Apache Reverse Proxy, Microsoft Proxy, F5 Big-IP Reverse Proxy (Rewrite profile), etc.
Procurement/conversion/renewal/application of SSL certificates
Excellent troubleshooting skills in analyzing server and application logs, etc.
Flexible enough to stretch beyond normal office hours as and when required depending on the criticality of the issue, etc. or to meet any project deadlines.
Good knowledge of PowerShell.

Good to have skills:

Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, Firewall, SSH, SFTP, etc.
Using SharePoint, Wiki, Microsoft teams, TFS, JIRA, etc.
Knowledge of Azure/AWS cloud environments is preferred
Shift Timings : 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST (Fixed)


Interact with various infrastructure support groups like network engineering, load balancers teams, firewall group, data center tier 1 operations, etc. and application development teams during issue resolution, change implementation, outages, etc.
Support issues related to Windows middleware environments such as IIS setup, applications pools creations on Windows platform, IIS/ App Pool recycles, CPU/ disk space issues, service alerts, logs mining, logs archiving, SSL certificates renewal, etc.
Participate in writing support related Windows batch, PowerShell scripts for automation of manual tasks/email alerts, system administration tasks, etc.
Work with project lead for reviewing recurring incidents and having permanent fixes in place, process and performance improvements initiatives, status reporting etc.
