Job Description

Mandatory Skills:

  • Hands on experience in creating ETL jobs Informatica Power Center or any ETL tool
  • Design Architecture, designs and end to end flow of the process to extract transform and load data (for Sr. roles)
  • Ability to understand business requirements into technical specs or document (Sr. roles)
  • Work experience in ETL S2T mapping, sessions, mapplets or reusable components, workflows
  • Scheduling and Sequencing Jobs
  • Do performance tuning of ETL jobs, DB queries and ensure quicker data loading (Sr. roles)
  • Debugging ETL load failures and fix
  • Strong SQL query writing abilities in any one of Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server etc
  • Exposure or work experience in data migration, data warehousing related projects
  • Communication and Articulation skills

Desired or Good to have

  • Data Modelling(Create/Understand)
  • Hands on skills using Informatica Cloud (IICS)
  • Understand schema, index, ETL framework and approach towards writing queries
  • Hands on or project experience in Snowflake (on AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Experience in writing stored procedures, shell scripts
  • Worked in SIT, UAT phases of projects
