Job Summary
As an Ignition Consultant, you will work closely with customers to design, configure, and optimize SCADA and MES solutions using Inductive Automation's Ignition platform. You will translate business and operational requirements into scalable Ignition architectures and guide clients through implementation, best practices, and adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand operational, SCADA, and MES requirements.
- Design Ignition-based SCADA, HMI, and MES solution architectures.
- Configure and customize Ignition Perspective and Vision applications.
- Advise and implement Alarm, Reporting, Historian, and WebDev solutions.
- Support MES use cases using Sepasoft modules such as OEE and Track & Trace.
- Ability to design and implement custom MES functionalities using Ignition (without Sepasoft), including production tracking, genealogy, quality, and traceability based on project requirements.
- Integrate Ignition with PLCs, databases, and enterprise systems (ERP/MES).
- Provide technical guidance, reviews, and best practices to customer teams.
- Support testing, commissioning, and post-go-live optimization.
- Create solution documentation, standards, and technical recommendations.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Ignition Gold Certification – Mandatory
- 10+ years of experience working with Ignition SCADA projects.
- Strong understanding of SCADA, HMI, and MES concepts.
- Experience with Sepasoft MES modules (OEE, Track & Trace preferred).
- Hands-on knowledge of industrial protocols (OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT).
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
