We're hiring Science Tutors for personalised 1-on-1 online sessions with Grade 68 students following British (Key Stage 3), American (Common Core / NGSS), or IB MYP curriculum. The tutor must be comfortable teaching all three sciences Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
You will:
- Conduct individual sessions tailored to each student's pace and learning style
- Teach across all three disciplines Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as part of the integrated science curriculum
- Create custom content from scratch notes, diagrams, worksheets, simple experiments, and practice sets specific to each student
- Cover foundational topics including forces, energy, matter, chemical reactions, cells, human body systems, ecosystems, and the periodic table
- Make science relatable through everyday examples, visuals, and hands-on activities that spark curiosity
- Build strong conceptual foundations to prepare students for GCSE, IGCSE, or equivalent senior-level sciences
- Track progress through regular assessments and adapt your approach accordingly
Non-negotiables:
- Degree in Science, Engineering, Education, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience teaching international science curricula across Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
- Prior EdTech or online tutoring experience
- Ability to create original, student-specific learning material
- Patient, engaging, and skilled at making abstract science concepts accessible to young learners
Nice to have:
- Experience with inquiry-based or experiment-driven teaching methods in an online setup
- Familiarity with multiple curricula and the ability to switch between them
- Track record of building early interest and confidence in science
Compensation: 500/session
