Role Description The IELTS Teacher (Remote) role is a full-time position focused on delivering online IELTS preparation classes to learners aiming to improve their English proficiency for academic or immigration purposes. The teacher designs structured lesson plans aligned with IELTS test formats, including listening, reading, writing, and speaking components, and adapts materials to different proficiency levels. Daily responsibilities include conducting interactive virtual lessons, assessing student performance through practice tests and assignments, providing constructive feedback, and tracking progress. The role also involves supporting learners with test-taking strategies, maintaining accurate records, collaborating with the academic team to update teaching resources, and ensuring a positive, inclusive online learning environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Training skills, with experience delivering standardized test preparation courses, ideally IELTS.
• Candidates should possess solid Lesson Planning and Education skills, including the ability to design structured curricula and adapt lessons to diverse learner needs.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, with clear spoken and written English and the ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible way.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor's degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field; TESOL/TEFL certification or equivalent is highly beneficial.
• Prior experience teaching IELTS or other English proficiency exams online, familiarity with digital teaching tools, and comfort working in a remote, collaborative environment are preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, cultural sensitivity, and a learner-centered teaching approach are important for success in this role.
