PURPOSE
To conceptualize, develop and execute Colour, Material & Finish (CMF) design strategies and proposals for smartphones and IoT products, ensuring that outcomes align with vivo's brand identity and market expectations. This role will drive material development, advanced visualization, and trend research while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. (Strengthening the localised design / CMF strategy for our products under Design for India)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Accountabilities attached to the role)
- Create compelling CMF concepts and strategies for innovative smartphone and IoT designs.
- Conduct extensive consumer and market trend research to inform design directions.
- Ensure delivery of design outcomes consistent with the brand's visual language and identity.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and marketing teams for effective execution.
- Utilize advanced visualization skills to communicate design intent and proposals.
- Maintain awareness of design trends, emerging materials, and technologies within the consumer electronics and other industry sector.

- Successful delivery of CMF design proposals meeting project deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design from NIFT, NID, or a reputed design institution.
Specialist Qualifications / Certifications:
- (Any certifications related to materials, design research, etc.)
Specific Experience:
- Demonstrated expertise in CMF design, with a strong portfolio showing successful consumer electronics or other industry projects.
