Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an ICU Doctor at Terna Speciality Hospital & Research Centre, located in Navi Mumbai. The ICU Doctor will be responsible for managing critically ill patients, monitoring their condition closely, and responding promptly to any changes. Key responsibilities include performing patient rounds, implementing treatment plans, performing emergency interventions, and collaborating with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care. The ICU Doctor will also participate in case discussions, handle documentation, and guide junior medical staff and nurses as needed.

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge and clinical experience in critical care and intensive care medicine.
  • Proficiency in emergency interventions, advanced life support techniques, and patient monitoring.
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills to assess and prioritize critical cases.
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and provide clear guidance to support staff.
  • Ability to maintain meticulous documentation and patient records in compliance with legal and medical standards.
  • Medical degree (MD/DNB) in Critical Care Medicine, Anesthesiology, General Medicine, or an equivalent field.
  • Valid registration with relevant medical councils and certifications such as ACLS and BLS are mandatory.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role in a hospital with ICU facilities is preferred.
