Job Description
- We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Secondary ICT Teacher to join our IGCSE team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching secondary level students.
- Develop and deliver engaging ICT lessons to secondary level students, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards and educational objectives.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and critical thinking.
- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support student growth and achievement.
- Implement effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate interdisciplinary projects and activities that integrate ICT across the curriculum.
- Stay informed about advancements in technology and educational best practices related to ICT instruction, incorporating relevant updates into lesson planning and delivery.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and academic concerns.
Requirements
Required Qualifications - Masters Degree in the relevant subject with B.Ed./ M.Sc.IT
Required Skills - - Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines, with a commitment to following the school's policies and procedures.
