Position Overview

Job Title: ICG Rates Sales - Desk Enabler, AS

Location: Mumbai, India

Role Description

  • The Institutional Client Group (ICG) for Debt manages the Bank's relationships with institutional investors across the full Fixed Income product spectrum (Rates, Credit, Foreign Exchange, Emerging Markets).
  • ICG Debt combines the global capabilities of Deutsche Bank with regional expertise on five continents.
  • The group works in close partnership with Trading, Structuring & Research groups to deliver our FIC franchise to meet our client's needs.

Your key responsibilities

  • Assist sales desks in actioning trade lifecycle events (amendments, novations, unwinds, fund allocations etc.)
  • Understand and implement best practices for various processes across sales desks (application of margin, booking processes, error correction, Revenue Credit booking)
  • Assist in managing client activation and enablement on key trading platforms
  • Investigate and resolve trade settlement issues, in coordination with internal and external teams
  • Maintain a log of booking/workflow issues across products and work with relevant parties across Tech/Ops for resolution
  • Develop relationships with Salespeople and relevant infrastructure functions to facilitate efficiency of actioning the tasks above

Your skills and experience

  • Knowledge and interest in the Fixed Income market
  • Experience acting in a trading/sales assistant role or relevant middle/back office function
  • Understanding of a typical fixed income trade lifecycle
  • Comfortable in a dynamic and fast paced environment
