Role Description

The ICG client analytics role is focused on generating insightful and actionable analytics to enable our global Fixed Income sales teams and sales leadership to drive profitability and revenues.

The role includes conceptualizing and delivering analytical frameworks, generating useful Management Information reports and conducting data driven deep-dives into our client franchise. The role is critical in bringing together information pertaining to our clients together from various parts of the bank and thus providing comprehensive client centric analysis. The role would require working with the Sales team to support them in their client facing activities. Undertaking revenue generating activities is strictly out of scope for this role.

The Institutional Client Group (ICG) at Deutsche Bank provides Sales and Advisory solutions to institutional clients such as Banks, Insurance companies, Hedge Funds, etc.

Your key responsibilities

• Production, enhancement, maintenance, and distribution of Global MI related to our Fixed Income client franchise
• Data quality controls, enabling translation / transformation of data to stitch together disparate data sources and drive data clean-up
• Drive our effort to industrialize analytics and build strategic platforms
• Support Management teams with investigations, deep dives, adhoc analysis / reports and similar insights into their respective business areas
• Monitor progress on key business initiatives and ambitions quantitatively with a view to identify early signals of risks / opportunities.
• Analyse client and market data, create presentation material and facilitate interactions with new and existing clients to allow the Sales team to make efficient use of sales opportunities.
• Socialize findings, identified opportunities / risks, recommendations to sales and management teams

Your qualification, skills, and experience

• CA / MBA from a premier institution, preferably with a focus on finance, economics, business administration, business informatics (or equivalent)
• Experience in Analytical & reporting/visualization tools such as Tableau and advanced Excel
• Experience with Client Management / CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, MS Dynamics) is a plus
• Strong computer skills, particularly in dealing with high volume of data, management of databases and Excel. Advanced exposure to Word and PowerPoint is required
• Basic experience in data exploration / mining tools like SQL is a plus
• Strong MI background with high data interpretation skills and data mining ability
• Very strong analytical skill and ability to think laterally
• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills, stakeholder management & teamwork
• Flexible and adaptive approach to work and willingness to take initiative / challenge status quo
• Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines
