Introduction
As a senior Test Analyst in the PRA ICE team, the prospective candidate will be involved in building a greenfield project for building new components for Regulatory Risk Reporting across multiple business lines. The Candidate will get exposure to many business deliverable projects in the Intraday Risk and Pnl Space, focus on investment banking business and regulatory requirements supporting Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA).
- Liaison with COO, PMO office, Risk Manager, Quants and trading to build out and enhance front office PRA ICE risk reporting system
- Delivery features on PRA ICE platform to support new product on-boarding, regulatory requirements, and front office user requirements
- Support daily risk reporting function, act as IT lead to drive full IT development life cycle, including requirement analysis, prototyping, architecture, design, development, testing, release and production supports.
- Co-ordinate with global ICE team, upstream and downstream system, infrastructure and other stake holders. Provide support for production issues upon RTB escalations
What will you be doing
- Interact with COO,PMO office, Risk Manager, Quants and trading to collect functional requirements and perform analysis.
- Perform functional and technical design and data modelling based on user requirements, provide effort estimation and detail project plan.
- Design/development of important service layer, integrate with front-end and various service components and tools into Risk Eco systems.
- Build/test the approved design and creation of release notes for implementation into production in accordance with the agile best practices. Might lead various small project teams globally for project plan execution
- Work with Run-the-bank organization and perform user training, documentation and production support for live systems.
- Evaluate new technologies in the Market and conduct technical POC
What We're Looking For
10+ years of solid experience in QA-Manual and Automation, 6+ years in Automation testing
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, financial background is preferred
- Estimates size of QA automation backlog items and Evaluates technical feasibility
- Translates automation requirements into engineering design and logical units of work.
- Drives execution on the UI and server side automation development.
- Propagates Behavior-driven development and encourages the team to improve test coverage and automation of unit and integration test.
- Applies automation development & engineering best practices.
- Ensures the Design goals Modularity, Reliability, Maintainability, Reusability, Repeatability are met.
- Creates and Maintains automation architecture, framework, technical documentation
- Accountable for introducing Advanced Testing practices, Test Automation strategies and agile principles.
- Contribute to the definition of development standards and process improvements.
Strong test automation knowledge on below tools and technologies
- Java, Selenium
- BDD framework, Cucumber, Junit/TestNG etc
- Automation on Windows/Desktop platform (WinAppDriver/ TestComplete/QTP-UFT)
- Knowledge on Rest API, Rest Assured.
- Development tools such as: Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA
- Devops & CI/CD tools (Teamcity, Nolio, Jenkins)
- Knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of tools like Nexus, Sonar, Git and JIRA is a plus
Skills That Will Help You In The Role
- Financial industry experience, knowledge of Derivatives products.
- Experience working with offshore teams
