The Ice Cream business is operating in a highly attractive category, as we are part of the EUR 470 billion snacking and refreshment industry, growing consistently at high pace. We have strong brands equities: 5 of top 10 selling brands including Wall's, Magnum, Ben &Jerry's. We are investing to unlock the full growth potential of Ice Cream as a standalone entity, once we separate from Unilever, which is planned to happen by the end of 2025.

Background

A role in Internal Audit provides a valuable opportunity to deepen functional skills, develop a deep knowledge of business & operational risk/control management and governance across the Ice Cream business.

You will develop broad leadership skills, stakeholder management skills, influencing skills & communication skills and better understanding of Ice Cream's Corporate Governance.

Job Purpose

In this role you will be part of a team auditing Ice Cream businesses across the globe. The Audit Manager Finance will:

• Bring operational knowledge of finance processes and practices to the audit teams.
• Identify key risks in finance and evaluate the key controls that mitigate these risks, identify any weaknesses and develop recommendations to address these.
• Act as a buddy to other auditors (including 3P) in finance processes and practices.
• Participate in cross-functional audit work globally.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

Auditing: deliver high-quality audits on time and in full, by evaluating the design and operational effectiveness of controls across multiple functional areas and business units Participate in Audit planning: be a part of audit planning process including discussions with unit management to understand business context, identification of key risks and proposal of audit scope/plan. Be a part of Finance Expertise Group: liaise with Centres of Excellence (content/process owners) on audit findings, identifying good practices/ functional issues/developments, capability building and internal & external benchmarking. Strategic Priorities and Initiatives: deliver workplan and strategic initiatives in line with the priorities of Internal Audit to ensure that the function is at par with the developments in the audit industry. Self Development: Develop, commit to and action a future fit self-development plan.

What You Need To Succeed

• Strong communication and presentation skills. Fluent spoken and written English is required.
• Strong Accounting Skills.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize large amounts of data into clear, concise findings
• Problem-solving skills, ability to make reliable and objective judgments and conclusions.
• Digital savviness
• Mature self-starter, able to work independently and in teams
• Result Oriented
• Self-confidence, resilient and integrity
• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in financial/accounting roles (in FMCG is a plus), with a track-record of successful performance.
• Professional finance qualification equivalent to CA, CIMA, ACCA, CIA is preferred but not required.
