Job Description - Assistant Vice President (AVP)

Role: AVP - IBOR Accounting & Reconciliation
Location: Coimbatore

Role Overview

The AVP will manage day-to-day delivery across IBOR accounting and reconciliation processes, ensuring operational excellence, control adherence, and continuous improvement. This role requires strong execution capability along with a proactive approach to governance and team management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily IBOR accounting and reconciliation activities across portfolios
  • Ensure timely closure of breaks with proper root cause analysis and resolution
  • Support fund accounting and middle office processes with strong operational linkage
  • Drive adherence to controls, compliance, and audit requirements
  • Support process improvement and transformation initiatives
  • Develop and maintain operational dashboards and reporting (Power BI exposure preferred)
  • Play a key role in account transitions and stabilization efforts
  • Manage team performance, training, and development

Required Experience

  • 12-14 years of experience in IBOR accounting, reconciliations, and fund accounting
  • Exposure to Middle Office functions or investment operations
  • Strong understanding of accounting flows, break management, and reconciliation processes
  • Experience supporting or participating in transformation/automation initiatives
  • Familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting tools is preferred
