Overview
As an Application Development Lead in the Retail sector, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovative application solutions that enhance user experiences and streamline operations. You will lead a team through the discovery and development phases, ensuring that our applications meet the highest standards of usability and accessibility. Your expertise in user research and prototyping will be essential in aligning our development efforts with business goals and user needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid discovery, user research, and workflow mapping for targeted use cases.
- Produce low/high-fidelity prototypes, design systems alignment (Fiori-inspired where relevant), and handoffs to dev.
- Validate with users; refine Information Architecture (IA) and accessibility.
- Short, concentrated sprints during discovery and pre-build phases; available on-demand for refinement before major releases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Mentor and guide junior team members in best practices for application development.
Requirements
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- Possess strong technical skills in application development and user experience design.
- Demonstrate core competencies in project management, agile methodologies, and user-centered design.
- Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with stakeholders effectively.
