Job Description

Job Title: IBM Workload Scheduler (IWA/TWS) Migration Consultant

Location: Remote

Timings: 5:30 PM IST to 2:30 AM IST

Job Summary

We are seeking two experienced Workload Scheduling Migration Consultants to support an enterprise conversion from BMC Control-M to IBM Workload Scheduler (IWA / formerly Tivoli Workload Scheduler – TWS). The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with enterprise scheduling tools and proven success migrating workloads between platforms.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with strong scheduling automation, migration, and distributed systems experience.

Must Have Skills

Hands-on experience with IBM Workload Scheduler (IWA / TWS)
Strong experience with BMC Control-M
Experience migrating from Control-M to IBM Workload Scheduler (or similar scheduling tool migration)
Experience working in distributed environments (Windows and Linux)
Strong understanding of job scheduling, dependencies, and automation workflows
Experience supporting enterprise-level batch scheduling environments

Nice to Have

Experience with other scheduling tools (Autosys, UC4, etc.)
Scripting experience (Shell, PowerShell, Python, etc.)
Experience with large enterprise migrations
Previous consulting or client-facing experience

Responsibilities

Support migration from BMC Control-M to IBM Workload Scheduler
Analyze existing job schedules and dependencies
Convert jobs and workflows into IBM Workload Scheduler
Perform testing and validation of migrated workloads
Troubleshoot scheduling issues during migration
Support production cutover and post-migration stabilization
Document migration processes and configurations
