Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IBM Sterling B2B Integrator Developer + Administrator with 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, administering, and supporting B2B/EDI integration solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end implementation, administration, production support, performance tuning, and onboarding trading partners in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

Development Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SI/SBI).

Create and maintain business processes using BPML.

Develop and configure EDI workflows for various trading partners.

Implement and support EDI standards including:

EDIFACT

XML

Flat Files

cXML

Configure and manage communication protocols:

AS2

SFTP

FTPS

HTTP/HTTPS

Connect:Direct

Develop maps using Sterling Map Editor/ITX.

Perform partner onboarding and integration testing.

Troubleshoot transaction failures and integration issues.

Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Administration Responsibilities

Install, configure, and upgrade IBM Sterling B2B Integrator environments.

Manage production, QA, and development environments.

Monitor system performance and optimize application stability.

Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.

Configure security certificates, SSL, PGP encryption, and authentication mechanisms.

Handle patching, system maintenance, and vulnerability remediation.

Monitor infrastructure health and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Manage user roles, permissions, and security compliance.

Support Responsibilities

Provide L2/L3 production support for critical B2B transactions.

Analyze logs, system alerts, and error reports.

Ensure adherence to SLA commitments.

Participate in on-call support rotations when required.

Coordinate with infrastructure, network, and security teams for issue resolution.

6-8 years of experience in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.

Familiarity with IBM Sterling File Gateway is highly preferred.

Exposure to IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) is desirable.

Administrative Skills

Sterling installation, upgrades, migrations, and patching.

Environment setup and configuration.

Performance tuning and capacity planning.

Application monitoring and troubleshooting.

Disaster Recovery and High Availability configurations.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience in Retail, Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, or Healthcare domains.

Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud) is an added advantage.

Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.

Understanding of API integrations and REST/SOAP services.
