Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated IBM RPA Developer with 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying automation solutions using IBM Robotic Process Automation (IBM RPA).
The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to identify automation opportunities, develop scalable bot solutions, and support end-to-end automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency and business productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using IBM RPA.
- Analyze business processes and identify automation opportunities.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize bots for rule-based and semi-structured processes.
- Integrate automation solutions with APIs, web services, databases, and enterprise applications.
- Implement exception handling, logging, and monitoring mechanisms.
- Conduct unit testing, system testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Deploy bots to production environments and monitor performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and operational guides.
- Ensure adherence to security, governance, and development standards.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and IT teams.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to automation best practices.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in IBM Robotic Process Automation (IBM RPA).
- Strong experience with IBM RPA Studio and IBM RPA Control Center / Orchestrator.
- Expertise in bot development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Experience integrating RPA solutions with REST/SOAP APIs, databases, and third-party applications.
- Strong understanding of workflow automation concepts and RPA best practices.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and database operations.
- Knowledge of exception handling, debugging, and bot optimization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, or other RPA platforms.
- Exposure to SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, or enterprise applications.
- Experience with OCR / IDP technologies such as IBM Datacap, ABBYY, or Tesseract.
- Knowledge of IBM Watson AI services, NLP, and AI-driven automation.
- Experience integrating AI/ML services via APIs.
- Basic knowledge of Python, PowerShell, or scripting technologies.
- Understanding of Process Mining and Task Mining concepts.
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or IBM Cloud.
- Experience with Git and version control practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- IBM RPA Certification (preferred).
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Ability to independently manage multiple automation initiatives.
