Job Description

The IBM Integration Technology Lead BAU Support will manage the maintenance, support, and enhancement of integration solutions using IBM technologies. This role involves monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues, implementing fixes, and providing technical leadership to the BAU support team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in IBM middleware, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience mentoring technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the BAU support team.
  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering continuous learning and improvement.
  • Lead technical discussions and decision-making related to integration support.

Maintenance and Support:

  • Maintain and support integration solutions using IBM Integration Bus (IIB), IBM API Connect, IBM DataPower, and IBM MQ.
  • Monitor integration systems for performance, availability, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related technical issues and incidents promptly.
  • Implement updates, patches, and enhancements to integration solutions.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of integration solutions.
  • Stay updated on IBM product trends, best practices, and integration technologies.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in IBM Integration Bus (IIB), IBM API Connect, IBM DataPower, and IBM MQ.
  • Proven experience in maintaining and supporting integration solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging abilities.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management best practices.
  • Leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to translate technical issues into business impact.
  • Relevant IBM certifications are highly desirable.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with additional integration tools and technologies.
  • Experience leading and mentoring technical teams.
