What You'll Do:
- IBM FTM and OpenShift Specialist Role Overview We are seeking a seasoned professional with deep expertise in IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) and OpenShift containerization to support modernization initiatives in the payments domain.
- The role involves designing, implementing, and supporting high-performance, scalable transaction systems and migrating legacy applications to cloud-native platforms.
- Key Responsibilities IBM FTM Implement and support IBM FTM for Payments, including modules like ACH, Check, RTP, and Zelle .
- Configure payment flows using FTM components: Map Designer, Transaction Editor, Event Framework, Message Broker Integration Interface FTM with upstream/downstream systems (SWIFT, ACH, RTGS, core banking).
- Monitor and troubleshoot transaction processing issues.
- Collaborate with business analysts and solution architects to define workflows and integration points OpenShift Lead containerization efforts for FTM modules using OpenShift/Docker stack
- Develop OpenShift operators using Ansible and Golang Migrate applications from WebSphere to Liberty Profile (WLP); replace IIB with AppConnect Enterprise Optimize deployment models for performance, HA, backup, and compliance on IBM FS Cloud Validate containerized deployments across environments (Dev, QA, Prod).
Expertise You'll Bring:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent.
- Required Skills and Experience 5+ years of experience in IBM FTM implementations and upgrades Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Proficiency in IBM Integration Bus (IIB), App Connect Enterprise (ACE), WebSphere MQ, DB2. Familiarity with ISO 20022, SWIFT MT/MX messaging formats.
- Experience with Java, XML, REST/SOAP APIs, and shell scripting. Exposure to GitOps (ArgoCD), Istio Service Mesh, multi-cluster setups, Operators & CRDs Preferred Qualifications Certifications in IBM FTM, OpenShift, Azure, or related technologies.
- Experience in BFSI domain and payment systems modernization Strong communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management.
