IBM ELO (RPE) Developer

Summary: The IBM ELO (RPE) Developer plays a critical role in enhancing ALM/reporting capabilities within engineering teams, specifically focusing on developing and maintaining ELO Publishing templates for efficient data reporting. This role aims to streamline document generation processes from IBM DOORS Next and Engineering Test Management, ensuring high-quality deliverables that adhere to regulated industry standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and create new ELO Publishing templates and reports.
• Map business document sections to data sources and transformation logic.
• Implement defect fixes and performance enhancements in existing templates.
• Document test evidence, release notes, and deployment instructions.
• Conduct maintenance and provide knowledge-transfer sessions for the ALM team.
  
  

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Computer Science, etc.).
• 4-7+ years of ALM/reporting experience with at least 3 years in IBM RPE/ELO development.
• Project experience with IBM DOORS Next and Engineering Test Management.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for client-facing roles.
• Proficient in IBM ELO Publishing, document studio, and template authoring.
• Experience with REST APIs, particularly with DNG data retrieval and ETM reporting.
• Knowledge in troubleshooting document output issues and working with XML schemas.

• Experience in regulated engineering domains (automotive, aerospace, etc.).
• Familiarity with Git for version control.
• Scripting skills with Python or PowerShell for automation tasks.
• Understanding of IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management application concepts.
