1. DB2 UDB Installation & Applying fixpak

2. Excellent knowledge for Performance Tuning

3. Database Sizing and Capacity Planning

4. Database Creation and DBM & DB CFG setting

5. Locking Concept

6. Security & Authentication

7. Well verse with physical & Logical Database partitioning features

8. Strong Knowledge in Database backup & restoration

9. Strong knowledge of db2pd, snapshot monitors & event monitor tool for troubleshooting.

10. Should have in depth knowledge to find the slow response of servers, database etc.

11. Strong communication skills and good follow-ups.

12. Strong knowledge for data movement tools.

13. Good knowledge of federated database.

14. Good knowledge on shell scripting
